DOLPHINS

What do their sounds mean?

Dolphins use sounds to find objects and hunt to fish.
These sounds are of high frequency and sound out at the rate several hunded per second.
The sounds bounce off objects in the water, are picked up by special tissue in the lower jaw of the dolphin which conducts the echo through to the inner ear. This allows dolphins to identify objects without having to touch them. Dolphins also use the sound to communicate with one another


BEES

Bees communicate with each other about food sources using dances .
The sound from the movements of the bees is picked up by tiny hair on the bee's head: bees use the sun in navigation.

The biggest barbecue of the world

This event was in Uruguay in El Prado.
They cooked 12,000 kilograms of beef in 1.5 kilometers of grill.
Uruguay entered in the Guiness book of Records.
Uruguay has the best beef of the world.

The day of the PIG

THE DAY OF THE PIG
On the ''Day of the pig'' people celebrate the pigs. It's celebrated in Uruguay, in all the farms with pigs. It is on March 14. The organizers are Lorenzo Motta and Eugenia Monteghirfo.
There are mud poodles to play in.
On this day noone eats pig.
All pigs are happy because they eat corn.
They eat , sleep and play in the mud. They have a lot of fun.
They have pig races and competitions to eat. The winner of the eating competition is the King of the pigs, for all the year . ( It's only for pigs)
For the girl pigs there is a beauty contest. The girls wear nice earrings and make up on their eyelashes .
The winner is the Queen of the pigs for all the year .
The TV and radio stations cover the event.
For the people there are mud poodles too.
It's really fun.

France fifty years ago...

In France fifty years ago the transportation were bicycles, carriages and carts. in this time there was not so much traffic. The street was quiet. there were a lot of green spaces and in those green spaces there were animals. The houses were big. The animals stayed in the basement, and the people lived on the first ans second floors. The town wasn´t very clean. There wasn´t sewage.
There were a lot of diseases and there weren´t good medicines. I think life now is better than it was fifty yaers ago.

Changes in the classroom

We wont use books. We will use computers. Also we will have air conditioning. We will send the work to the teacher and she will correct it in her computer. We will watch movies in a plasma TV. We will have big windows.

Typical Decoration: Jack-o´-Lantern, Costumes.

Symbolism: Jack-o´-Lantern (are used to give the welcome to the spirits), Costumes (for fun), Candy and Sweet Things (tribute for the witches)

Paragraph

This Festival is celebrated on October 31º of every year. The typical food is candy, candied apple, cake, cookies and drinks, in general sweet things. People wear horror costumes to collect candy saying "Trick or treat?"
Also it´s typical to decorate the houses with Jack-o´-Lanterns to give the welcome to the spirits.

Genetic engineering

Clones are good if you are sick and you need an organ for you.
You can use the clone to experiment some products.
You can use it to do your homework and your work.

You can create different species of animals. The fauna will increase a lot because humans will experiment a lot with animals and mix the DNA to create more animals.
